Dental Implants in Issaquah Washington

Safe and well established

Dental Implants are a highly safe and very well established treatment used to support the introduction of false teeth. Effectively little more than a titanium screw used to fulfil the same purposes as the root of an organic tooth; implants are affixed to the jawbone and act as anchors, holding one or several new teeth in place.

As an extremely common treatment throughout the US and beyond, the process of fitting implants is one each of the practitioners here at Tiger Dentistry has mastered through years of hands-on experience.

Each year, millions of people worldwide opt for implant procedures over the less dependable alternative of removable dentures.

How long do implants last?

Much like natural teeth, the lifespan of Dental Implants is dependent on how well they are maintained by their owner. The amount of effort put into upkeep, the regularity of maintenance appointments in the ensuing months and years and the overall health of the jawbone all have a say in the lifespan of implants. If all of these things align, you can expect them to last for years.

Does implant treatment hurt?

The process of placing an implant is generally considered to be far less taxing on the mouth and jaw than the removal of a rotting tooth. As a result, the majority of treatments require only a weak local anesthetic to be administered. It is very rare to feel pain during the procedure itself, it is however common for there to be some amount of discomfort during the week following.

How long does treatment take?

This unfortunately varies from person to person. The one guarantee the Tiger Dentistry team can make however is that from the point of your initial inquiry, all that can be done to provide you with an accurate timeframe for treatment – will be done. While it’s common for a grace period to be allowed so that the implants can settle – typically anywhere between 3 and 4 month – sometimes it is possible to affix false teeth at the same time as the implants.

Perfect for people like me!

I recently became a patient of Tiger Mountain Dentistry. I had been without a dentist for a year and a half as my previous dentist retired. I put off selecting a new one as I dread dental appointments! They do a great job here. They explain everything and are very gentle.

We would and have referred them to family.

Dr. Lee's office so very friendly and acknowledges you by name when you come in. They are a professional but fun group of people. My husband and I think this is by far the BEST dentist office we have ever been to. Dr Lee isn't one of those dentists that look for something to charge you for during your visits. They get in and out of your mouth as quickly and painlessly as possible.
